Removal of 9 Cupressus and Leylandii Trees, Stump Grinding to make way for a new fence in Edinburgh.

The JDS Trees team recently removed 9 Cupress and Leylandii Trees from a garden in Edinburgh, they then ground down the stumps and provided pollarding services on 2 x Tilla Cordata (lime trees). This cleared the area and enabled our fencing team to install 33 metres of new feather edge fencing for the client.

​This was a large sycamore tree that had originally self seeded and had then trunk had split off in two different directions. Over the years rain water had entered and built up within the tree where it split. Which through time would lead to a very dangerous situation with the tree being unsafe. The sycamore tree was removed from a garden in the Bonnyrigg & Lasswade area and at the clients request the large branches and logs where left on-site to be recycled and used as features in the garden and to heat the clients home during the coming winter and beyond.
