"Firstly, it's very easy to contact JDS by phone and they are very, very helpful. My job was quite small - a small tree needed straightened and properly supported. I've had a few gardeners try to do it and fail. So I needed tree experts. JDS sent Liam and Louis who straightened the tree and put a rabbit-, fox- and badger-proof fence round it.
There is a minimum call-out charge, so the guys continued working for the time that was paid for. There were several jobs I got them to do - like pruning, and clearing flower beds and then putting a layer of mulch on them The garden looks great. "I contacted JDS in 2021 to help deal with a tree that had been blown over during high winds. I didn't want the tree removed for many reasons, so asked if they could try and put it upright and see if it would recover as half of the roots were still in the ground. "My garden fence, which was blown down during the storms of January 2024, was replaced by JDS. From first contact agreeing to the quote, the job was done impressively quickly. The two guys who carried out the work were lovely - polite, efficient and hard working. They tidied up afterwards too. I am a bit unsure of the gate, which I wanted to be double sided. However, when it was explained this would make the gate very heavy, it would drop over time and make unlocking/locking it difficult, I took the advice to have it only single sided. It means I can see through the gate, whereas I would much prefer if the slats had been close together without spaces. However, apart from that, I am very happy with the finished Job."

"Excellent and modern company. Josh runs a tight ship. From quote to job done to billing - everything ran like clockwork. We used JDS to remove some plants, install a fence, and put down some pebbles/gravel. The guys turned up when they said they would and went the extra mile to ensure the job was done to a high standard (e.g. treating fence posts with bitumen to preserve the wood, laying a membrane beneath our pebbles to reduce weed growth), and that we were happy with the work done (e.g. trimming 20cm off every single fence panel to make sure it was the height we wanted).
